At Delta Elementary Library we love to read.  We know that reading is the key to your child's success in school and in life.  We are using the Accelerated Reading Program to emphasize and encourage reading.  As you know, the best way to improve reading skills is to read more.  Students read books on their individual reading level and then take quizzes on the computer.  They earn points based on their scores on these quizzes.  This is a wonderful program because it enables students to be successful at every level.  We recognize students for their achievement with the AR Program through hall displays, certificates, and prizes.  Please see the News section for the article with a complete list of prizes.  Read with your child and encourage them to read every day!  We are WILD ABOUT READING!!!
