Native American Artifacts

Lionel Peacock shared his Native American artifacts with the students in fourth grade.

Lionel Peacock, whose family can trace their Native American lineage, is also the grandfather of fourth grade student, Hayden Peacock.  As a part of the Alabama History studies, Peacock recently shared his collection of Native American artifacts to the class and discussed with them the usage.  Among his collectables are various arrow heads, a marriage cup, purse, canoe paddle, blanket, water urn, necklace, and a ceremonial animal collar.
